MISSION STATEMENT

 

Lightning Basketball is to inspire promising inner city youth to be leaders, champions and student-athletes and empower them to be successful in high school, college and life. Our organization uses basketball to engage young men in the program, to instill in them the values and life skills that will prepare them for success in life beyond sports.  Lightning Basketball creates opportunities and provides support for promising youth to fulfill their potential in the classroom, on the court and in the community. Our mission is to inspire youth to be leaders, champions and student-athletes and to empower them to be successful in life.
